BLACK AND WHITE OPTICAL

This full size quilt is NOT a Bargello. It is made with the ‘convergence’ technique. Starting with 2 squares of each color, cut strips of specific widths. These strips are sewn into a striped fabric, re-cut and sewn again into 4 pieced squares. Directions include a template for the scalloped border.

What a great quilt for the male graduate. Can’t you see this in Cyclone red and gold or Hawkeye gold and black! Any school color combination would be stunning.

It is quick to piece with a spectacular effect. It isn't dizzy until it is finished and then what a whow!effect.

This quilt was first asked for by my pre-teen son when he wanted his room his room painted black.
